A power team of professionals to speak on Business of Career Path panel discussion at the Women who Inspire Network (WIN) monthly event on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Lawrence Technological University. Inspiring and mentoring younger, college women is one of the network’s major goals. Kimberly Hayes Taylor, Editor B.L.A.C. Detroit Magazine, will emcee the event. Panelists include W3r Consulting VP Keith Echols; Comerica Bank Manager Ketra Lewis; Farmers Insurance Agent Nancy O’Neale; Image Specialist Denitra Townsend; and Ellis Ice Tea Founder Nailah Ellis.
They will offer winning tips on how they got their businesses or careers started and what pitfalls to avoid.
A business expo will follow the panel discussion and PowerPoint presentation. The WIN Network is now accepting vendor applications for the business expo.
This free, public event will be held on Monday, February 18th from 7-9 pm at Lawrence Technical University, 21000 W. 10 Mile Rd., Taubman Student Services Center, room C406 in Southfield, MI.
Women who Inspire Network’s mission is a professional women’s Christian network that meets monthly whose mission is to inspire, motivate, and mentor Christian women. Our four- fold purpose is to: Inspire – motivate, inspire, uplift, support and encourage women; Mentor – Mentor younger women one on one - mentor/mentee program called Purpose; Wellness – provide health, financial, mental, and social resources for women; and Entrepreneurship – to help start, build, and establish local women owned businesses.
