We are a 501 c (3) Professional Women's Christian organization. Our mission is to inspire, mentor, and motivate Christian women.

Our four-fold purpose is to: Inspire –  we want women to dream again. We want womento discover their destiny and be the women who God designed them to be; Mentor – Mentor traditional college women in our program called Purpose; Wellness – provide health, financial, mental, and social resources for women; and Entrepreneurship –to help start, build, and establish local women-owned businesses.

Inspire - Our inspirational workshops include spiritual enrichment, self-image, motivational, and personal development. The workshops are designed to help women overcome issues such as poor self-image, low self-esteem, depression and other issues that inhibit a woman's growth. These events feature motivational speakers or ministers such as Christian Therapist Dr. Kim Logan-Nowlin. Women and members who attend our monthly events will have a much more positive outlook on life from attending our monthly events.

MentorMany young, college age women do not have enough positive mentors in their life. Women who Inspire is a group of professional business women who mentor college age women in our mentorship program called “Purpose”.  We will launch our mentorship program in September 2013 and meet on college campuses throughout the academic year to grow student membership. Purpose provides one-on-one mentorship opportunities to young women who would like career support and guidance while in college. Our goal is for every professional member to mentor one college female student at one of our host campuses. In the next five years, we plan to expand our mentorship program to Lawrence Tech University, Wayne State University, Henry Ford Community College, Marygrove College and Wayne County Community College.

Purpose is a continual mentorship program throughout the academic year. Students are still encouraged to attend monthly events and workshops focused around topics of interest to them. We will also facilitate focus groups for college age women to discuss the workshop topics among their peers. Our three Purpose events will focus specifically on mentorship including, Youthfest: a mentorship workshop that will mentor and motivate college age women by focusing on self-esteem, image and purpose. Event workshop topics include: professional networking; relational marketing; social skills development; transitioning from college to a career or business; self-esteem and self-image. Mentors will benefit from their relationship with their mentee because they are fulfilled by giving back the community. College age women will receive professional support and guidance and have a positive role model in their lives.

Wellness - We believe in a holistic approach to wellness. It is not just physical health – but that the spirit, soul, and body are all connected. We not only want to address the physical symptoms of our target audience, but also the root cause of the symptoms. We are currently developing future programming for wellness workshops. We are currently planning a GLAM day for women cancer victims and survivors to take place in mid July. Our goal is that participants in our wellness workshops will take necessary steps to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Entrepreneurship - Women who Inspire is a resource for women who would like to start or grow their businesses. We host events that  target new women business owners or women who want to expand their businesses. We believe that it is essential for professional women to network to growth and expand our businesses. Members can also benefit from our professional and business networking group that meets monthly at no additional fee. Our entrepreneurship workshops host business women keynote speakers such as Gail Perry-Mason, Tammy Turner, and First Lady Crisette Ellis. Event Workshop Topics include: career skills; career placement; career development; professional attire; interview skills; resume writing; business start-ups; professional networking skill, social media skills; money management; and access to capital. We also host a monthly Women who Inspire Business Networking Group that meets at members' business offices to discuss topics such as marketing, networking, and business development.

We meet bi-monthly to support each other through guest speakers, a business networking group, workshops, mentoring and focus groups. Events are free and open to the public.
